  Wow! Talk about another brand new business opening up on FireTower Road - Seven Brew (7B) - Drive Thru Coffee - just opened up in February and it's a HIT! There have been so much new development along Firetower road on the border of Greenville and Winterville that many folks are wondering what new business will open up next. Driving along Firetower road, we finally saw one of three new businesses in front of the AMC theatre open up in early February and it was Seven Brew (7B) Drive Thru Coffee. Initially, MrsB and I were very skeptical about this new business because it was completely different than what we anticipated. Yet as the days rolled by in February, we saw more and more cars and visitors frequent Seven Brew! Quite naturally, we had to make plans to visit Seven Brew this weekend and WOW -- what a Fantastic experience! As soon as we drove up in line, we can hear the music JAMMING from main area and the festive lights around the building makes you feel uplifting and relax! ...

  On October 11th, 2023, we visited a local restaurant at NC State University in Raleigh, NC called the "PLAYERS RETREAT." While visiting our youngest professional adult, Marcus, who is attending Graduate School at NC State (Wolfpack) in the College of Natural Resources, we decided to check out the local restaurant right off of Hillsborough and next to the main campus of NC State University! We ordered a salad along with their specialty of CLUB SANDWICHES which includes ham, turkey, chicken, bacon, and lettuce served with a heap of fries!  Of course, I had to supplement my order with one of their local beers too! Haha! Overall, we give the PLAYERS RETREAT an EXCELLENT rating because it is a classic College-style restaurant with all the NC State memorabilia, sports memorabilia, big TV Screens, and foods that college students and families love to eat!  On February 1st, we finally had the time to visit one of our local restaurants in our town that we have been trying to get to for several years. The restaurant is called, "Famiglia" and it is located on Firetower Road close to CVS Pharmacy. It is a family-friendly and budget-friendly Italian restaurant serving the Winterville and Greenville residents for the past few years.   Check out our photos inside the restaurant! We ordered a very nice appetizer then the main dish was a STROMBOLI! Stromboli is a type of baked turnover filled with various Italian cheeses or meats! Our Stromboli was filled with cold cut meats and mushrooms! I mean whole mushrooms! Check it out! Both dishes were delicious, healthy, and filling! Along with the great food, the atmosphere in the restaurant was delightful, cheerful, and they played really good background music!  So after completing our meal, we took a few photos outside too!
