Road Travel - Visit to Our First Local Restaurant in Winterville, NC - "Famiglia"

 On February 1st, we finally had the time to visit one of our local restaurants in our town that we have been trying to get to for several years. The restaurant is called, "Famiglia" and it is located on Firetower Road close to CVS Pharmacy. It is a family-friendly and budget-friendly Italian restaurant serving the Winterville and Greenville residents for the past few years.

We ordered a very nice appetizer then the main dish was a STROMBOLI! Stromboli is a type of baked turnover filled with various Italian cheeses or meats! Our Stromboli was filled with cold cut meats and mushrooms! I mean whole mushrooms! Check it out!



Both dishes were delicious, healthy, and filling! Along with the great food, the atmosphere in the restaurant was delightful, cheerful, and they played really good background music!  So after completing our meal, we took a few photos outside too! Check them out!

Overall as an Empty Nester Life Style couple, we HIGHLY recommend "Famiglia" as a place to dine out with your family, friend, neighbor, co-worker, or by yourself! They also have a small bar area too as you walk inside the restaurant!

DrB and MrsB ready for HALLOWEEN and the Trick or Treaters!

  It's that time of the year in which we participate in the annual HALLOWEEN night of Trick or Treaters coming to our home and we are more than willing to give out candy to our neighborhood kids. In fact, we have been doing this for decades since we had our own 3 kids participating in Halloween night and going trick or treating too! Indeed, we miss those days helping our three kids get dressed up in their individual outfits going door-to-door asking for candy. Then to see their faces and hear their voices talking about how much fun they had going trick or treating!! Those are special moments in life that we will ALWAYS cherish! To continue the FUN TRADITION of Halloween and Hallows Eve, MrsB and I get dressed up and greet our local trick or treaters with candy and JOY to celebrate their own Halloween costumes!
