DrB and MrsB ROAD TRIP to MOREHEAD CITY, NC for JULY 4TH CELEBRATION and SUMMER FUN!

 It's finally here - JULY 4TH CELEBRATION and the Kick-Off to SUMMER FUN for DrB and MrsB! We have been looking forward to this American holiday all through the spring and early summer. It's something about the JULY 4TH weekend and now Week-long celebration that gets us so excited about the SUMMER!!

So here we are arriving at our hotel - BASK HOTEL in Morehead City, NC - which has the greatest location and view of the entire Harbor Channel, SUGARLOAF Island, and the Bogue Sound area of Atlantic beach. It's just picture PERFECT!!!

  On May 16th, we visited the GRAND OPENING of the new grocery store  - LOWES FOODS in WINTERVILLE, NC!! Wow! What an event! After months of construction and anticipation by many of us in the neighborhoods in the area, LOWES FOODS finally opened their doors to customers and it was a BIG HIT!! Talk about fun, FESTIVE, EXCITING, and GREAT FOOD along with their beverages, we were very IMPRESSED!  Once we were inside the Lowes Foods grocery, the scenery was even more festive, coastal-looking with bright colors, and interactive with the staff! They were giving away special treats and customers  enjoyed the environment! Check it out! So if you want to experience a different type of grocery store which offers specialty foods and drinks, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND - LOWES FOODS!!

Road Travel - Visit to Seven Brew (7B) - Drive Thru Coffee on FireTower Rd, Greenville, NC!

  Wow! Talk about another brand new business opening up on FireTower Road - Seven Brew (7B) - Drive Thru Coffee - just opened up in February and it's a HIT! There have been so much new development along Firetower road on the border of Greenville and Winterville that many folks are wondering what new business will open up next. Driving along Firetower road, we finally saw one of three new businesses in front of the AMC theatre open up in early February and it was Seven Brew (7B) Drive Thru Coffee. Initially, MrsB and I were very skeptical about this new business because it was completely different than what we anticipated. Yet as the days rolled by in February, we saw more and more cars and visitors frequent Seven Brew! Quite naturally, we had to make plans to visit Seven Brew this weekend and WOW -- what a Fantastic experience! As soon as we drove up in line, we can hear the music JAMMING from main area and the festive lights around the building makes you feel uplifting and relax! ...

You maybe wondering, what was our REACTIONS to the new home improvement project completed by CAROLINA WINDOWS & DOORS? We had a wide range of emotions yet this photo captured it all! Our joy, excitement, surprise, and blessed feeling all were expressed once they completed the entire home improvement project!  Of course, I recorded a couple of short videos of the project too!
