NEW HOME IMPROVEMENT PROJECT - CAROLINA WINDOWS & DOORS!

 As Empty Nesters, MrsB and I needed to make an investment into our home after 18 years raising 3 children and giving everything to them throughout their years of education from primary school, middle school, high school, and college. Now that they are independently making their way in their young professional lives, Mrs B and I have turned much of our attention on us! 

We therefore decided to start investing into our home. Our first home improvement project was to change out our roof and we found an excellent contractor to do a FANTASTIC job (Wells Roofing).

Our next home improvement project was to change out ALL of our 32 windows and 2 doors. That's when we called CAROLINA WINDOWS & DOOR! Mr. Brad Bailey came out to our home in November and explained the entire process and production of their windows and doors to us. We were very IMPRESSED and he was such a nice person! After his presentation, we struck a deal!

 


 Three months later, Carolina Windows & Doors came out to our home and installed all of the 32 windows & 2 doors! The construction engineer - Jamie- and his assistant did a masterful, professional job in taking out our old windows and then strategically installing all of the new windows and doors in just TWO DAYS! Here is Jamie at the end of the Day #2! He is such a nice gentlemen too!

DrB and MrsB ready for HALLOWEEN and the Trick or Treaters!

  It's that time of the year in which we participate in the annual HALLOWEEN night of Trick or Treaters coming to our home and we are more than willing to give out candy to our neighborhood kids. In fact, we have been doing this for decades since we had our own 3 kids participating in Halloween night and going trick or treating too! Indeed, we miss those days helping our three kids get dressed up in their individual outfits going door-to-door asking for candy. Then to see their faces and hear their voices talking about how much fun they had going trick or treating!! Those are special moments in life that we will ALWAYS cherish! To continue the FUN TRADITION of Halloween and Hallows Eve, MrsB and I get dressed up and greet our local trick or treaters with candy and JOY to celebrate their own Halloween costumes! Road Travel - Visit to Our First Local Restaurant in Winterville, NC - "Famiglia"

 On February 1st, we finally had the time to visit one of our local restaurants in our town that we have been trying to get to for several years. The restaurant is called, "Famiglia" and it is located on Firetower Road close to CVS Pharmacy. It is a family-friendly and budget-friendly Italian restaurant serving the Winterville and Greenville residents for the past few years.   Check out our photos inside the restaurant! We ordered a very nice appetizer then the main dish was a STROMBOLI! Stromboli is a type of baked turnover filled with various Italian cheeses or meats! Our Stromboli was filled with cold cut meats and mushrooms! I mean whole mushrooms! Check it out! Both dishes were delicious, healthy, and filling!
